Spring Fever?
This week was the first week back at Biglerville Elementary School after spring break and it was the first time I can remember the weather being pleasant on a tutoring day. In fact the weather was more than pleasant; it was a beautiful spring day and it seemed like everyone had spring fever. Bryan and Jed both had difficulty focusing and staying on task, which isn’t out of the ordinary for them but was especially evident this week. It didn’t help that another boy doing work in the library was carrying on; yelling and asking Bryan for answers to his math homework. What also didn’t help was the fact that when they finished their homework, the children were allowed to go play outside. As more and more children finished their work and went outside, the ones left inside still doing work got more restless and more careless with their work.
